You can help preserve The Cook Street Village by helping out in one or more of the following ways:

• Write a letter to the City of Victoria (i.e. to City Council and Planning Staff) Click here to view a sample letter. Click here to view some of the reasons given by other community members who wish to stop the Cook and Sutlej development.
• E-mail the City of Victoria
• Speak at a City of Victoria Committee of the Whole or City Council meeting (in order to speak at the Committee of the Whole, you must be part of a delegation & only one or two people in a delegation are permitted to speak)
• Attend a Committee of the Whole or City Council meeting
• Help by distributing flyers near your home
• Help by phoning people to let them know about the development and the need to oppose it
• Attend a community meeting
